"FIT WITH THE RIGHT FOOD" If you are healthy and want to stay healthy or if you are sick and would like to be well again - the first step is always healthy eating. Following is a brief list of foods that should be included in every healthy diet, as well as a list of foods and drinks that should be avoided or abstained from where possible. Basic Eating Guidelines The good news first : You can eat as much as you want (until you feel full) if you adhere to the following guidelines:
The following is an example of a healthy meal plan:
If you eat fruit, choose apples, bananas, pears, apricots, figs, melons, and berries. Limit the amount of citrus fruits (especially in winter), since to much of fruit acids put strain on the body's elimination; besides - they often contain strong pesticides. If you have a senstive stomache, or a tendancy towards heartburn and flatulence, fruit should only be eaten on an empty stomache. One glass of beer or wine doesn't harm. But think about this - all mammals other than humans drink only water. Sausages or wieners should be avoided because they are filled with very low quality meat, contain sugar, artificial flavours and nitrate, which can cause cancer. Store bought desserts and snacks are not recommended because they contain chemical substitutes and waste products like whey, lethicin, gelatin, yeast, etc, which slow down your metabolism and cause a person to get extremely hungry some time after eating them. Alcohol and nicotine accelerate the rate of your skin's aging, cause cellulite, head, joint and spine aches, high blood pressure, rheumatism, stomache, liver and kidney problems Lemonade and soft drinks contain a lot of white sugar or artificial sugars (like aspartame) and also chemical acids which can lead to cavities, calcium deficiencies, loss of ability to concentrate, nervousness, "wild hunger", and headache.
